Who is Patch Camp Ovens?
Patch camp ovens were started by Michael Patch, after an unsuccessful search to purchase big camp ovens for his catering business.
Large camp ovens would enable Michael to be able to cater for 5000+ people at one time using fewer smaller camp ovens at functions.
After making his own big camp ovens, Michael saw a demand for them and started taking orders for large camp ovens.
Patch camp ovens specialise in sizes ranging from 16inch all the way up to 36inches.
Who is Michael Patch?
Michael Patch is a born and bred hard-working Aussie farmer with a passion for camp oven cooking. Michaels experience with camp ovens spans over 30 years, there’s nothing he can’t cook.
Michael specialises in large format camp oven catering with his business, A Camp Oven Experience.
Australian Camp Oven Festival
Michael won the title “Champion Cook” of the Australian Camp Oven Festival at Millmerran in 2000.
And since 2004, Michael and his team have been providing the catering at the festival, providing over 5000 meals to feed the hungry attendees.
